Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
Add in the egg and vanilla extract. Beat until fully combined.
In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the wet mixture.
Fold in white chocolate chips and patriotic sprinkles.
Scoop cookie dough onto the baking sheet (about 1 tbsp each) and flatten slightly.
Bake for 8–10 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
Let cool for 5 minutes on the pan, then transfer to a cooling rack.
