4th of July Drinks

A festive and refreshing layered drink made with fresh berries, yogurt, and lemon juice — perfect for all ages on the Fourth of July.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Strawberries Fresh hulled and chopped
  • 1 tbsp Honey Or agave syrup
  • 1 whole Lemon Juiced
  • 1 cup Plain Yogurt Or dairy-free yogurt alternative
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1 cup Blueberries Fresh or frozen
  • 1 cup Sparkling Water Non-caffeinated
  • 1 cup Ice Cubes Optional: with frozen berries inside

Instructions
 

  • Blend strawberries with honey and half the lemon juice until smooth. Pour into the bottom of each glass.
  • In a small bowl, whisk yogurt with vanilla extract. Carefully layer over the red mixture using a spoon.
  • Blend blueberries with the remaining lemon juice and sparkling water. Gently pour on top as the blue layer.
  • Add ice cubes and serve immediately. Garnish with a mint sprig or a berry skewer if desired.

Notes

To keep the layers separate, pour each one slowly over the back of a spoon. You can make the fruit layers ahead of time and store them in the fridge until serving.
