Equipment

  • 1 Tongs or Spatula Tongs or Spatula
  • 1  1 Meat Thermometer To ensure salmon is fully cooked
  • 1 Paper Towels  For patting salmon dry

Ingredients
  

  • 4 salmon fillets skin-on or skinless
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or avocado/coconut oil
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 tsp salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper to taste
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder or onion powder
  • optional seasonings to taste
  • optional garnishes to taste

Instructions
 

  • Preparation: Pat salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Brush with olive oil. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and other desired spices. Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease the air fryer basket.
  • Cooking: Place salmon in the preheated air fryer basket, making sure not to overcrowd. Cook for 8-12 minutes, depending on thickness. (Optionally, if skin-on, cook skin-side up for half the time and then flip.)
  • Checking: The salmon should be opaque and flake easily. The internal temperature should reach 145°F (63°C). Use a meat thermometer to verify.
  • Resting: Remove salmon from the air fryer and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
