Ingredients
  

For the Marinade

  • 1 cup soy sauce For marinating the chicken.
  • 2 tablespoons honey To add sweetness to the marinade.
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil Helps in flavor absorption.
  • 1 teaspoon ginger Freshly grated or powdered.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic Minced or powdered.

For the Skewers

  • 1 pound chicken thighs Skinless and boneless for juiciness.
  • 8 pieces wooden skewers Soaked in water for 30 minutes.

Preparation

  • In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, olive oil, ginger, and garlic to create the marinade.
  • Cut chicken thighs into even pieces and place them in the marinade. Marinate for at least 30 minutes, preferably overnight.

Cooking

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  • Thread the marinated chicken pieces onto the soaked skewers.
  • Place the skewers in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  • Cook for 15–20 minutes, turning halfway through until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).

Notes

Serve with a creamy bang bang sauce for extra flavor. Ensure to cut chicken pieces evenly for uniform cooking.
