Chocolate

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a medium bowl, mix together flour, baking soda, brown sugar, and granulated sugar.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract until well combined.

Mixing Dough

  • Gradually add the dry ingredient mixture to the wet ingredients and stir until a dough forms.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.

Baking

  • Scoop out tablespoon-sized amounts of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden and the centers are soft.

Cooling

  • Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes
