  • 4 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 3 tbsp milk
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil or melted butter
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp chocolate chips (optional

Instructions
 

  • In a microwave-safe mug, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  • Add the milk, oil, and vanilla extract. Stir until smooth.
  • Fold in chocolate chips if using.
  • Microwave on HIGH for 60–70 seconds until the cake is set but still soft in the center.
  • Let rest for 1 minute before enjoying

Notes
