  • 2 cups cooked chicken, chopped You can use leftover rotisserie chicken.
  • 4 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled Cook until crispy.
  • ½ cup ranch dressing Mix well with chicken.
  • 4 slices your favorite bread (ciabatta or sourdough work great) Toast until golden brown.
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce For crispiness.
  • ½ cup diced tomatoes Fresh tomatoes preferred.
  • to taste salt and pepper For seasoning.
  • Cheese slices (optional, cheddar or mozzarella) Add before closing the sandwich.

Preparation

  • Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  • In the same skillet, toss in the chopped cooked chicken, seasoning with salt and pepper. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  • Pour in the ranch dressing and mix well until the chicken is evenly coated. Allow it to warm for an additional 2 minutes.
  • While the chicken is heating, toast the bread slices in a toaster or on a grill until golden brown.
  • Assemble the sandwich by layering the toasted bread with the ranch-coated chicken, crumbled bacon, shredded lettuce, and diced tomatoes.
  • If desired, add slices of cheese on top before closing the sandwich.
  • Serve immediately, slicing the sandwiches in half for easier handling.

Notes

Serve with potato chips, a green salad, or sweet potato fries. Customize with toppings like avocados, pickles, or jalapeños. Pair with iced tea or lemon soda for a refreshing meal.
