Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 4 servings Ramen noodles
  • 2 cups Chicken broth Use low-sodium if preferred.
  • 1 cup Heavy cream For a lighter version, substitute with half-and-half.
  • 2 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Minced garlic Fresh garlic preferred for optimum flavor.
  • 2 cups Diced chicken breast Substitute with shrimp or tofu if desired.
  • 4 tablespoons Sliced green onions For garnish.

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a large pot of boiling water, cook the ramen noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • In the same pot, add a little oil over medium heat. Sauté the minced garlic until fragrant (about 1 minute).
  • Dice the chicken breast and add it to the pot. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Pour in the chicken broth, then add the heavy cream and soy sauce. Stir well, letting it simmer for another 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
  • Add the cooked ramen noodles to the pot. Toss everything until the noodles are well-coated with the creamy sauce.
  • Dish out the ramen into bowls and garnish with sliced green onions.

Notes

This ramen keeps well in the fridge for up to three days. Reheat gently on the stove, adding a splash of broth to loosen the sauce. Enhance with vegetables like spinach or mushrooms if desired.
