  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 packet dry ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch optional, for thickening
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish optional

Preparation

  • Place chicken breasts in the bottom of the crockpot.
  • In a bowl, whisk together cream of chicken soup, ranch seasoning, chicken broth, and milk until smooth.
  • Pour the mixture over the chicken to coat thoroughly.
  • Cover and cook on low for 6–8 hours or high for 3–4 hours until tender.
  • For thicker gravy, mix cornstarch with cold water and stir in during the last 30 minutes.
  • Shred chicken and mix back into gravy.
  • Serve warm over your favorite sides.

Notes

Substitutions: Swap ranch for Italian seasoning for a new flavor. Flavor boosts: Sautéed onions or garlic add depth. Shortcuts: Use rotisserie chicken to save prep time.
