Preparation

  • Lightly grease the crockpot insert to prevent sticking.
  • Start with a layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of the crockpot.
  • Place a layer of frozen ravioli over the sauce.
  • Add spoonfuls of ricotta over the ravioli.
  • Generously sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the ricotta.
  • Add a pinch of Italian seasoning for added flavor.
  • Continue layering—sauce, ravioli, ricotta, mozzarella—until you reach the top of the crockpot.
  • Top the final layer with marinara sauce, finishing with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.

Cooking

  • Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or on high for 2-3 hours.
  • Let it sit for about 10-15 minutes before serving to allow it to set.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. Reheat in the microwave or back in the crockpot on low. For gluten-free, look for gluten-free ravioli options. You can also add sautéed vegetables or mix in some crushed red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
