  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Preparation

  • Whisk the mixture until all ingredients are well combined and the cocoa is fully dissolved.
  • Continue to cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently.
  • Once heated through, remove from the heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
  • Pour the Gingerbread Hot Chocolate into your favorite mugs.
  • Top with whipped cream and sprinkle crushed gingerbread cookies on top, if desired.
