Ingredients

For the rolls

  • 1 can crescent roll dough
  • 1 cup pepperoni slices
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup marinara sauce for dipping
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning optional
  • to taste cooking spray or parchment paper for baking sheet

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly spray it with cooking spray.
  • Open the can of crescent roll dough and carefully unroll it onto a flat surface, separating it into individual triangle pieces.
  • On each triangle, place about 5-6 pepperoni slices and a sprinkle of mozzarella cheese at the wider end.
  • If using, sprinkle a little Italian seasoning for added flavor.
  • Roll each triangle from the wide end to the pointy end, making sure to tuck in the sides as you roll to create a sealed edge.
  • Place the rolled crescents on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring they have space between them to allow for rising.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until they are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  • While the rolls are baking, heat the marinara sauce in a small saucepan on low heat for dipping.
  • Once baked, let the rolls cool for a few minutes before serving them with the warm marinara sauce.

Notes

Pepperoni Pizza Crescent Rolls are versatile; they can be enjoyed as a family dinner or a delightful appetizer for gatherings. They are best served warm, straight from the oven.
