Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup strawberry cake mix
  • 5 cups Chex cereal (any variety) Can substitute with puffed cereal or granola
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips Can use milk or dark chocolate chips for a richer flavor
  • 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup freeze-dried strawberries, chopped
  • 1/2 cup sprinkles Optional for decoration

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the Chex cereal and chopped freeze-dried strawberries. Set aside.
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the white chocolate chips and peanut butter.
  • Microwave the mixture in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until it’s melted and smooth.

Coating

  • Pour the melted mixture over the Chex cereal, making sure to coat evenly.
  • In a separate large plastic bag or bowl, combine the strawberry cake mix and powdered sugar.
  • Carefully add the coated Chex to the bag or bowl and shake until fully coated with the sugar mixture.

Cooling and Serving

  • Spread the coated puppy chow evenly on a baking sheet to cool.
  • Optional: Add sprinkles before it sets for a colorful finish.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. Customize with your favorite flavors and toppings.
