  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced.
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger Minced.

  • 2 tablespoons Cooking Oil For sautéing.

Preparation

  • Slice the beef against the grain into thin strips for tenderness.
  • In a bowl, combine beef strips with soy sauce, minced garlic, minced ginger, and cornstarch. Let it marinate for at least 10-15 minutes.

Cooking

  • In a hot skillet or wok, heat 1 tablespoon of oil over medium-high heat. Add sliced onions and bell peppers, stir-frying for 2-3 minutes until slightly softened. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of oil if needed, and cook marinated beef in a single layer. Allow to sear for 2-3 minutes before stirring.
  • Once the beef is nearly cooked through, return the vegetables to the skillet and stir everything together to meld the flavors.
  • Adjust with more soy sauce if needed, and cook for an additional minute to heat through.
  • Transfer to a plate and enjoy your sizzling dish immediately.

Notes

For leftovers, store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. Reheat gently on the stovetop. This recipe works well with chicken or tofu, and feel free to customize vegetables based on availability.
