  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1 package frozen tater tots
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables (optional)

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat, then drain excess fat.
  • In a large bowl, mix the browned beef, cream of mushroom soup, frozen mixed vegetables (if using), and season with salt and pepper.
  • Spread the mixture evenly in a baking dish.
  • Layer the tater tots on top of the beef mixture.
  • Sprinkle shredded cheese over the tater tots.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
  • Serve hot and enjoy your comfort food!

Notes

To store leftovers, let the casserole cool completely, then cover it or transfer to an airtight container. Can be kept in the refrigerator for up to three days and frozen for up to three months. For extra flavor, use seasoned ground beef or add garlic and onion powders. To add vegetables, consider bell peppers, corn, or spinach.
