- 2 black tea bags or 2 tsp loose black tea
- 2 cups water
- 1 cup milk whole, skim, almond, or oat milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cinnamon stick or 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1-2 tbsp sweetener honey, sugar, or maple syrup, to taste
Boil 2 cups water in a small pot.
Add cinnamon stick or ground cinnamon, simmer 3-5 minutes.
Add tea bags or loose tea, steep 4-5 minutes.
Warm milk separately without boiling.
Remove tea bags or strain loose tea and cinnamon.
Stir in warm milk and vanilla extract.
Sweeten to taste, stir well.
Serve warm, optionally sprinkle cinnamon on top.
