Ingredients
  

  • 2 black tea bags or 2 tsp loose black tea
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup milk whole, skim, almond, or oat milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cinnamon stick or 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1-2 tbsp sweetener honey, sugar, or maple syrup, to taste

Instructions
 

  • Boil 2 cups water in a small pot.
  • Add cinnamon stick or ground cinnamon, simmer 3-5 minutes.
  • Add tea bags or loose tea, steep 4-5 minutes.
  • Warm milk separately without boiling.
  • Remove tea bags or strain loose tea and cinnamon.
  • Stir in warm milk and vanilla extract.
  • Sweeten to taste, stir well.
  • Serve warm, optionally sprinkle cinnamon on top.

  • Use your favorite milk alternative for a dairy-free version.
  • Adjust sweetness as preferred.
  • Try iced version by chilling the brewed tea and serving over ice.
