Ingredients
  

  • Cake Layer:
  • 1 box red velvet cake mix
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup water
  • Cheesecake Layer:
  • 16 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped fresh strawberries
  • Topping:
  • Whipped cream optional
  • Strawberry slices for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Prepare Red Velvet Cake:
  • Mix cake mix with eggs, oil, and water. Bake in a 9-inch pan as per box instructions. Let cool completely.
  • Make Cheesecake Filling:
  • Beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Add heavy cream and beat until fluffy.
  • Assemble the Layers:
  • Place cooled red velvet cake at the bottom of the springform pan. Spread cheesecake filling over it evenly.
  • Add Strawberries:
  • Gently press chopped strawberries into the top of the cheesecake layer.
  • Chill:
  • Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until firm.
  • Serve:
  • Garnish with whipped cream and strawberry slices. Slice and enjoy!

Notes

This recipe is great for holidays like Valentine’s Day or family dinners. You can also try a no-bake version using crushed red velvet cookies for the base.
